Product Description
The Emerson 475 Field Communicator is a universal handheld device designed to simplify configuration, diagnostics, and maintenance of HART® and Foundation™ Fieldbus instruments. It offers a full-color graphical interface, Bluetooth® communication, long-lasting Lithium-Ion power, and supports HART versions 5, 6, and 7, including WirelessHART™.
Equipped with a 3.5-inch transflective touchscreen and large physical navigation keys, the communicator provides clear visibility in all lighting conditions and ensures efficient operation both in the field and on the bench. With 32 MB of application memory and a 1 GB System Card, the device is designed for reliable performance and future expansion.
The Easy Upgrade feature allows users to download the latest Device Descriptions (DDs) over the internet and update the communicator on-site. This ensures compatibility with more than 1,300 HART and Foundation Fieldbus devices from over 100 manufacturers.
The 475 Field Communicator is certified for Intrinsic Safety and meets the requirements of ATEX, FM, CSA, FISCO, and IECEx standards.
Additionally, it integrates seamlessly with AMS Device Manager, enabling configuration, documentation, and advanced diagnostics—including Fisher® FIELDVUE™ valve diagnostics using ValveLink™ Mobile.
