Operating Principle
The Fisher Type 630 regulator operates by balancing downstream pressure against the adjustable control spring force acting on the diaphragm assembly. When downstream pressure decreases, the diaphragm moves to open the valve and increase gas flow. As downstream pressure rises to the setpoint, the valve throttles toward the closed position, maintaining stable outlet pressure.
