Operating Principle
The Fisher Type 67CFR regulator reduces incoming supply pressure to a controlled downstream pressure using a spring-loaded diaphragm mechanism. The integrated filter element removes contaminants and moisture from the air supply, while the internal relief valve protects downstream instrumentation from minor overpressure conditions.
As downstream pressure decreases, the regulator opens to allow additional airflow. When outlet pressure reaches the desired setpoint, the valve throttles to maintain stable and accurate pressure regulation.
