Description

The Fisher 4320 is a wireless position monitoring device designed to provide secure, real-time feedback of valve or actuator position in process control applications. It uses a non-contact, linkage-less magnetic Hall-effect sensor to detect valve stem movement, thus eliminating mechanical linkages and improving reliability over time.

The unit can be configured for basic monitoring of valve position, or it can integrate on/off control functionality by converting digital set points from a host to pneumatic outputs. It supports mounting on quarter-turn (rotary), sliding-stem (linear), or other actuators conforming to industry interface standards. Wireless data communications (WirelessHART) allow remote monitoring, diagnostics, and configuration.

Though the product is no longer in production, the 4320 remains supported via documentation to ensure legacy installations remain serviceable.
