Corken LPG Vertical Compressors

Description
Many LPG (propane & butane) and agricultural ammonia piping systems suffer from poor net positive suction head (NPSH) conditions, which often cause excessive pump wear and maintenance. Unlike pumps, reciprocating compressors handle only vapors, so they are not affected by poor NPSH.

These compressors are especially useful with pressurized storage tanks (such as tank cars or underground tanks) that have top unloading connections, making them an ideal solution for liquid transfer in such applications.

Design & Features

• Type: Vertical reciprocating compressor

• Piston Rods: Most models use single packed piston rods

• Oil-Free Option: Not available (except model D891, which has dual packing but still not oil-free)

• Applications: Suitable for non-toxic, non-corrosive gases where oil-free service and tight leakage control are not required
