Product Description

The BelGAS P289RC is a high-capacity exhaust booster specifically engineered for applications requiring extremely fast and responsive pneumatic pressure control. Designed for use with large pneumatic actuators, surge valves, and recycle valves, the P289RC enhances system reaction time by rapidly exhausting air when differential pressure occurs between the controlling instrument and the actuator.

This booster amplifies the exhaust capability of the pneumatic control loop, making it ideal for compressor stations where fast operation is essential to manage sudden pressure changes or compressor surges. The device operates by utilizing the differential pressure between the spring case port and the outlet, opening proportionally as the differential increases. With a factory-set opening point of approximately 1.5 psig—non-adjustable in the field—the P289RC ensures stable and repeatable performance. Additionally, proper installation requires a bypass valve between inlet and outlet to maintain controlled operation.
