Product Description
The AT Pneumatic Actuator is a robust and reliable rotary pneumatic actuator designed for industrial automation systems that require precise valve control. Powered by compressed air, the AT actuator delivers fast and accurate on/off or positioning control for rotary valves such as ball valves, butterfly valves, and plug valves.
With a torque range of 30–500 Nm, selectable 90° or multi-angle rotation, and IP67 environmental protection, the AT pneumatic actuator is well suited for demanding applications in oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation, water treatment, food, and pharmaceutical industries. Its compact aluminum body, low-friction internal design, and NAMUR-standard interface allow easy integration with automation accessories and control systems.
Working Principle
1. Actuation Modes
Double-Acting:
Compressed air is supplied alternately to both sides of the piston to drive valve opening and closing. When air supply stops, the valve remains in its last position, ideal for precise control applications.Single-Acting (Spring Return):
Uses compressed air in one direction and a pre-loaded spring for automatic return to a fail-safe position (normally open or normally closed) when air supply is lost.
2. Motion Conversion
Compressed air drives the piston inside the cylinder, rotating the output shaft to provide 90° standard rotation, with optional 120°, 135°, or 180° travel for special applications.
